Director, Global Campaign for Microbicides, Washington DC, Full Time, (Job #3367)

GCM is seeking a dynamic, committed, visionary and strategic thinker to lead GCM through its next phase of development. The Director will have overall responsibility for the strategic, programmatic, financial and managerial operations of GCM. In consultation with GCM's international steering committee and staff, s/he will implement GCM's strategic plan, design effective activities and enhance the organization's ability to achieve its unique mission. 
The Director reports to the Vice President for External Relations at PATH.

Capcity Building Officer, South Africa, Full time (Job #3419)

 

The Capacity Building Officer will be based in GCM’s Johannesburg office and will report to the Africa Team Leader.  Her/his primary role is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations to advocate knowledgeably about the HIV prevention research and development process.  This will be done primarily through (1) developing training materials, (2) cultivating relationships with other NGOs and civil society organizations, and (3) delivering in-person trainings.  Specific responsibilities include: Materials development, including the Microbicides Essentials Course, Civil Society organising and plan and deliver workshops/traings. Click here for more detailed information and required skills.
