The Global Campaign's presence at Events and Conferences
The Global Campaign's main strategy to reach new constituencies is to sponsor workshops, presentations, and/or events at venues and conferences that attract opinion leaders from the targeted communities. GCM takes every opportunity to work with the communities and NGOs and provide them with the tools, trainings, resources and support to become informed and engaged microbicides advocates!

Europrise Annual Conference Programme
The principal aim of Europrise is to bring together EU scientists from both microbicide and vaccine fields to embrace a coordinated approach to HIV prevention research. Partners in the EUROPRISE consortium represent 13 projects funded by the European Commission in the sixth Framework as well as 5 projects funded by the Gates Foundation. These projects involve 33 institutions from 22 countries. EUROPRISE promotes an integrated program of research, coordinating a wide portfolio of activities encompassing the whole pipeline of vaccine and microbicide development from early discovery through to early clinical trials. 11/11/09 - 14/11/09 12th European AIDS Conference (EACS)
Place: Cologne, Germany
The Twelfth European AIDS Conference will offer an exciting scientific programme, composed of a well-balanced mix of timely plenary lectures and symposia, as well as abstract-driven sessions presenting recent original research in the field of HIV medicine.
An important goal of the conference is to promote an interest in clinical HIV research amongst young researchers/clinicians, including those from Central and Eastern Europe, at an early stage in their career. Junior researchers are therefore particularly encouraged to submit results from their scientific work and also use it as a venue for networking.
